The semester course will cover reading and historicl interpretations of the United States and Oregon constitutins. There is an emphasis on the Bill of Rights and 14 th Amendment. Studnts are introduced to the processes and institutions of the federal and stat government. Current candidates, initiatives, and legisltion will be analyzed and deliberated.
